I began drawing around 8 years old and continued in my teens, copying the drawings of the 18th and 19th century masters. After majoring in fine art at the University of Colorado,
I began to follow artists like paul hogarth, Alan Cober and Bill Negron who drew on location. Although I have painted a wide range of subject matter, I am most drawn to western scenes that show some action.
